.		To ensure the safety of your data:-
.		Your data is compressed to about half the original size before sending it to the server. Your data is encrypted using 448 bit Blowfish encryption before sending it over the network and then is transferred using 128 bit SSL encryption. Once on the server, it is encrypted and is only accessible using your encryption key. Your data is stored on a primary storage platform in a secure data centre. The primary platform is replicated to a mirrored platform in a different data centre. After the your initial backup, MyBackups works out what has changed on your PC and only sends these changes. Therefore, after your first big backup is done, backups are as quick as sending a large email. Servers store up to 30 versions of your data, going back one calendar month. Restoring a file is done online and you can select to restore one file, or all your data. MyBackups runs on most versions of Windows and Macintosh. Please contact us if you require a Linux client.

This means that the MyBackups software checks on your computer which files have changed and what information in those files have specifically changed. And then only uploads those specific changes. For example: You have a Word doc that is very big (say 3 MB) and you add one word to it. At your next backup ONLY that one word will be uploaded NOT the whole 3 MB file
